Johnson Kombian says his brother’s arms should be chopped off

A brother of captured notorious armed robber and jail breaker, Johnson Kombian says his brother’s arms should be chopped off to prevent him from carrying out any further robberies and atrocities.

Nidity Kombian in an interview with Citi News said his brother begun petty thievery when they were both children and has grown to master the act.

He said he is pleased Johnson Kombian has been arrested since his incarceration will allow the people of Nankpanduri  to live in peace.

According to Nidity Kombian, anyone who tries advising his brother became a target of his nefarious activities.

He told Citi News that Johnson’s mother fled the village in October 2010, when the police raided the area, during which
19 houses were burnt down by the police in a fruitless search for the three time jailbreaker.
Prior to his capture, Johnson Kombian had fatally shot two police officers and injured two others. He was captured on Friday November 19, 2010 by Togolese security in collaboration with Interpol. He had earlier broken jail in that country for similar offences.

He was arraigned before an Accra Circuit Court on Monday, November 22, during which he alleged that his escape from the Tamale Central Prison was facilitated by a Prisons Officer he can identify.

However, an obviously elated brother, who is one of the jail breaker’s 26 siblings, said Johnson should be punished for his numerous crimes.

"I am happy that he has been arrested...I want them (the Court) to cut off his hands and leave him because if they free him I will leave Nakpanduri"

Mr Kombian added that each member of the family has a farm including Johnson himself because their late father left them acres of arable land they use for the purpose. Nidity Kombian added that his brother has decided not to enter into farming but rather rob and terrorize people.

He said the family is tired of counseling Kombian to change from his nefarious activities.
